I had such a good time at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books that when the opportunity to attend the San Diego Children’s Book Festival came up, I jumped at the chance. I think this might be even better for Misfit McCabe and figuring out which cover I want to make the new cover. There’s actually no reason not to attend. I already have all of the marketing materials ready, I have a good supply of books, I have Denny, my two-legged advertizing unit, a spot in a booth and a scheduled signing time, and the congenial company of other authors. The trick will be not to run amok buying all of the things I see. I love children’s books and all of the accessories that go along with them.
So, when is this wondeful event? Saturday, May 9th between the hours of 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d love to see you there.

LK, your website is a lot more sophisticated than mine! You put it all together yourself?
Thanks – I actually used a theme framework created by Justin Tadlock, and have been slowly tweaking it to suit what I want. The previous site was built from the ground up by me, but I wanted to restructure to integrate the website (Griffie World) and the blog & add a little more pizzaz and liked the slider effect
That’s cool. You certainly have pizzaz. The slide show applications are a nice touch. And if I weren’t across the country in Virginia, I’d totally come see you in San Diego.
And if it were reversed, likewise. Maybe one of these days.
